September 5, 2020
I told my husband I had been hearing “for such a time as this” again – a lot! (See Messages 4/16/17.) He then reached for the Living Bible (TLB) version lying on our end table and opened exactly to Job 4 and started reading and immediately came to…
Job 4:6 “At such a time as this, should not trust in God still be your confidence?”
He had randomly opened to that exact page and exact scripture out of the entire Bible! Was this just another coincidence? What do you think? I had been feeling troubled, almost tormented, by negative thoughts and found myself asking God for forgiveness for my weakness, feeling incompetent about what to do, or how to start this God Ripples website.
But I knew I could not procrastinate any longer because I had heard “there is a window” (see Messages 2020) a few months earlier. I had to trust God and do something. The time was now – for such a time as this.
November 27, 2020 Woke to: “Psalm 88”
I heard “Psalm 88” in the middle of the night, and was saying it aloud as I rolled over to go back to sleep. My husband woke hearing me say something and asked what I said and if I wanted to write it down? I repeated “Psalm 88” to him and said, “no need to write it down, I’ll remember,” then quickly fell back asleep.
The next morning, we sat down to read the bible and he reached for the KJV Bible on our coffee table, and with his fingers opened exactly to Psalm 88 and said, “look what I opened to!” I had no idea what he meant. He had remembered I heard Psalm 88 during the night – and I did not remember! This was another supernatural moment.
This time, I believe it came to (and was meant for) my husband. He was delivered from a lifetime of alcoholism just one week before, on November 20, 2020. It is truly a miracle that he has been able to quit cold turkey. He just stopped. He was done. This happened after he had been drinking since he was 18 years old. I believe God is going to start moving mightily in his life and I praise God for this blessing.
December 15, 2020 Opened Bible to Psalm 1
I believe it was not an accident that I opened to this scripture during this time of unrest and social instability. I believe God wants me to share it.
Psalm 1
Oh, the joys of those who do not follow evil men’s advice, who do not hang around with sinners, scoffing at the things of God. But they delight in doing everything God wants them to, and day and night are always meditating on his laws and thinking about ways to follow him more closely. They are like trees along a riverbank bearing luscious fruit each season without fail. Their leaves shall never wither, and all they do shall prosper.
But for sinners, what a different story! They blow away like chaff before the wind. They are not safe on Judgment Day; they shall not stand among the godly. For the Lord watches over all the plans and paths of godly men, but the paths of the godless lead to doom.
1/2/21 Supernatural Incident
As I sat down early this morning, I noticed a small rock on the side table with the word JOB written on it. Neither my husband or I knew where it came from. We both remembered a Thanksgiving years ago when everyone wrote what they were thankful for on a rock. Perhaps this was one of them, but how did it suddenly appear? We both immediately thought it meant the book of JOB so I reached for our Bible (TLB version) and I opened exactly to Job 4! And at very top of the page on the left (Job 4:6) it read: At such a time as this, shouldn’t trust in God still be your confidence.
We couldn’t believe it! I had just finished my first draft of this website two days earlier, and on the main page I wanted it to read GOD RIPPLES…For Such a Time as This! I chose those words because four years earlier, God woke me from deep sleep to those very words (see Messages 2017). I believe it was an angel letting me know this was the exact time to release GOD RIPPLES. For such a time as this.
